Credit Courses For Deemed Universities & Autonomous College

Given the increasing competition in the recruitment scenario, forward-looking institutions have started training their students from the early years with a greater focus on strengthening fundamentals and adapting to industry needs. To meet this objective SMART has developed the ‘Credit Course Curriculum’, which has been successfully adopted by premier institutions.

The aim of the credit course is to enhance the overall “Employability Quotient” of University students and develop “ready to deploy” talent mapped to industry requirements and subsequently enhance placements year on year. SMART will deliver comprehensive end-to-end training solutions for students from first year onwards. This training will equip the students on relevant Employability Skills like Language & Communication Skills, Life Skills and Aptitude Skills.

The course will be conducted along with the regular curriculum from the first year to final year and awarded credits.

Through this programme SMART ensures that the talents of the students are honed in a steady manner from day one and throughout their program of study, thereby ensuring that they are industry-ready at the end of their program.

SMART will adopt different training strategies depending on which year the participants belong to, their crucial skill gaps and anticipated industry hiring trends

Having achieved a track record of good placements Kalasalingam University now aims to move up the ladder by targeting higher salary offers and better placement ratios, for that to happen grooming of students should start from the moment they step foot inside the campus, rather than only at intermittent stages. The MoU with SMART ensures that the talents of the students are honed in a steady manner from day one and throughout their program of study, thereby ensuring that they are industry-ready at the end of their program
